Cardinal Mooney hosted the first swim meet of the high school season this past weekend. Eleven local high school teams and 230 swimmers competed in the 3rd Annual Boomer Invitational. Our very own head coach Alice Smithers puts on the meet in memory of Herald Tribune sports writer Phil “Boomer” Denis.
